Engineered as a direct OE replacement, the Caterpillar 3412 fuel injector 10R-1265 is built to restore the precise fuel delivery required by the CAT 3412 series diesel platform. The injector utilizes high-pressure fuel atomization technology to achieve optimal combustion, ensuring consistent spray patterns and exact flow rates that support both performance output and fuel economy across heavy-duty operating cycles. Constructed from durable materials engineered to resist extreme temperatures and elevated injection pressures, this component is designed for long service life in demanding industrial environments.

Each injector is manufactured to match the dimensional and functional specifications of the original CAT part, allowing for straightforward installation during scheduled maintenance or full engine rebuilds. It is compatible with authorized cross-references including 10R1265 and 326-1644, providing a reliable option for fleet operators and service shops that manage mixed equipment inventories. The injector supports standard maintenance protocols and performance diagnostics, contributing to predictable engine behavior and reduced unplanned downtime.

Recommended maintenance practices include inspecting the spray pattern every 500 operating hours, replacing fuel filters to prevent contamination, and periodically checking fuel line pressure and injector response. Cleaning the injector tips with approved industrial solvents helps sustain proper atomization. Operators should monitor for common fault indicators such as engine misfire, excessive smoke, or rough idling, which may signal clogged nozzles, incorrect timing, or partial injector blockage requiring service.
