Caterpillar original  20R-3247 C12 C13 engine fuel injector 3512B 3516B common rail injector replacement for OEM  original new injector

The Caterpillar CAT 3512B Fuel Injector 20R-3247 is a remanufactured diesel injector assembly engineered for the CAT 3500 Series V12 engines with a 51.8-liter displacement. It is compatible with the CAT 3512B, 3512C, 3512B Marine, and 3512 Generator Engine configurations, covering industrial, marine, and power generation applications. Cross-referenced with 20R3247, 10R-7075, 10R7075, 236-9007, 2369007, CAT20R3247, CAT2369007, and CAT10R7075, this injector provides a direct-fit replacement solution for maintenance and overhaul programs.

Designed to OEM quality standards, the injector features precision fuel atomization and high-durability industrial-grade construction to ensure stable engine performance across mining, oil and gas, heavy construction, and continuous-duty generator set operations. Its optimized spray pattern improves combustion efficiency, increases engine power output, and reduces fuel consumption while lowering particulate emissions. Enhanced engine response and reliability make it a dependable choice for high-load and extended duty cycles where downtime is costly.

Routine maintenance of the 20R-3247 injector includes the use of clean diesel fuel, regular replacement of fuel filters, periodic injector testing, and monitoring of exhaust smoke levels. Operators should also avoid water contamination and maintain proper fuel pressure to maximize service life. Typical fault indicators such as excessive exhaust smoke, engine knock, cylinder imbalance, fuel leakage, reduced power output, increased fuel consumption, difficult starting, and unstable idle can be effectively addressed by replacing the affected injector with this remanufactured assembly, restoring the engine to its intended operating condition.
