Caterpillar original Caterpillar 437-7547 diesel fuel injector replacement for CAT engine spare part new injector original new injector

The OEM Caterpillar fuel injector assembly, cross-referenced as CAT4377547 and CAT20R2296, is engineered as a direct replacement component for the CAT 3512B, 3508B, 3516B, and 3516C engine platforms. Manufactured from high-grade steel alloy, this injector is built to withstand the extreme mechanical and thermal stresses found in heavy-duty mining, marine, and industrial power generation applications. The unit operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C and delivers a service life of 8,000 to 10,000 operating hours, making it well suited for continuous-duty environments such as CAT 793C, 793D, 785C, and 785D mining haul trucks, as well as offshore and onshore generator sets.

Featuring a precision-machined multi-hole nozzle and high-pressure direct injection capability up to 2200 bar, this injector ensures complete fuel atomization and an optimized spray pattern for efficient combustion. The hardened internal components and OEM-standard seals contribute to consistent injection timing, reduced soot formation, improved fuel economy, and lower exhaust emissions. These design attributes support stable engine performance under high-load conditions, whether deployed in iron ore operations in Australia, copper and gold mining projects in South America and Africa, oil and gas power systems in the Middle East, or marine propulsion and industrial generator fleets across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Routine maintenance is straightforward, with recommended injector inspections every 500 operating hours, regular replacement of fuel filters, and the exclusive use of high-quality diesel fuel. Installation follows a controlled procedure: cool the engine, clean the injector bore and fuel lines, lubricate the O-rings, install and torque to specification, reconnect fuel and electrical connections, prime the system, and perform a leak and performance test. Backed by a 12-month warranty, this Caterpillar injector assembly provides a dependable OEM-grade solution for operators seeking reliable fuel system performance across global mining, marine, oil and gas, and industrial generator markets.
