Caterpillar original 370-7280 Fuel Injector Replacement for C4.4 C7.1 Engine 320E 323E 324E 320F 323F Excavator Loader original new injector

The Caterpillar CAT Fuel Injector 370-7280 is a high-pressure common rail diesel injector engineered as an OEM equivalent replacement for CAT C4.4, C4.4 ACERT, C4.4 Industrial, C4.4 Generator Drive, and selected C7.1 engine platforms. It is fully compatible with a wide range of Caterpillar machines including the 320F, 323F, 324E, 326F, and 329E excavators, as well as the M315F, M317F, and M323F material handlers, supporting operations across construction, mining, agriculture, power generation, and general industrial sectors.

This injector is built around OEM calibrated flow rate specifications and incorporates a precision atomization nozzle that delivers an optimized spray pattern for improved combustion efficiency. High pressure common rail technology ensures precise fuel delivery, stable power output, and consistent performance under demanding load conditions. The industrial-grade construction features corrosion resistant materials, contributing to extended service life, reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions, better cold-start behavior, and reduced engine noise compared to worn or non-OEM equivalent units.

To maintain long-term reliability of the 370-7280 injector, operators should use clean diesel fuel, prevent water contamination, replace fuel filters on schedule, monitor fuel system pressure, and perform periodic injector balance testing. Common diagnostic indicators that suggest injector service include diagnostic trouble codes, excessive exhaust smoke, increased fuel consumption, engine vibration, reduced power output, and poor acceleration. Authorized cross references include 370-7280, 20R-2476, 295050-0330, and 295050-0331, making this unit a trusted direct replacement for genuine Caterpillar fuel injection systems.
