The Caterpillar C9 ACERT Fuel Injector 10R-47641 is an OEM-compatible electronic unit injector designed for the Caterpillar C9 engine family. Featuring an inline 6-cylinder configuration with 8.8L displacement and electronic direct injection, this injector delivers precise fuel metering through ECM-controlled operation. Advanced multi-hole nozzle technology ensures superior fuel atomization with an optimized spray pattern and uniform distribution, supporting improved fuel economy and lower emissions. The injector operates within a turbocharged ACERT emission platform, making it suitable for heavy-duty industrial environments.

Manufactured from hardened alloy steel with precision-ground internal components and a corrosion-resistant surface treatment, this injector is built for long service life of 8,000 to 15,000 operating hours under normal conditions with clean fuel. It is interchangeable with cross reference numbers 326-1646 and 326-1647, providing a reliable replacement for construction, mining, oilfield, marine, and power generation applications. The high-pressure resistance and instant nozzle needle closure mechanism prevent fuel dribble and ensure consistent performance across demanding duty cycles.

This injector fits Caterpillar 320D, 321D, 323D, 324D, 325D, 329D, 330D, and 336D excavators, 966H, 972H, and 980H wheel loaders, and D7R, D7E, and D8T bulldozers. Installation requires verifying the part number and engine serial number, cleaning the injector bore, installing a new sealing washer, and performing ECM diagnostics. Depending on engine ECM configuration, injector trim coding and ECM synchronization may be required after installation to ensure optimal engine performance.
