Caterpillar original 10R-7222 10R7222 10R-7224 Common Rail Diesel Fuel Injector for C7 C9 Heavy Machines Replacement for OEM new injector original new injector

The Caterpillar C9 Fuel Injector 10R-7222 is an OEM-spec remanufactured electronic unit injector engineered for Caterpillar C9, C9 ACERT, 3126B, and 3126C diesel engines. It directly replaces cross-reference numbers 236-2010, 236-2011, and 236-2012, making it suitable for popular Caterpillar equipment models such as the 950H, 962H, 966H, 972H wheel loaders, 120M, 140M, and 160M motor graders, articulated trucks, excavators, generator sets, marine auxiliary engines, and a wide range of industrial diesel applications.

This injector is built using micron-level nozzle machining, high-pressure calibration, and strict OEM tolerance control, ensuring precise fuel metering and consistent spray atomization. Hardened steel internal components, wear-resistant nozzle surfaces, and corrosion-resistant surface treatment provide long service life under demanding operating conditions. Optimized spray patterns and stable solenoid response deliver reduced fuel consumption, faster throttle response, smoother idle, increased combustion efficiency, and noticeably lower exhaust smoke output.

The 10R-7222 is supplied as a direct OEM replacement, allowing straightforward installation into the injector bore with proper sealing washer replacement, fuel line inspection, fuel rail pressure verification, ECU diagnostics, and post-installation leak testing. Operators are advised to use clean ultra-low sulfur diesel, replace contaminated filters promptly, prevent water ingress, monitor diagnostic codes, and follow OEM service intervals. Backed by a 12-month warranty, this injector delivers reliable performance across construction, mining, agricultural, power generation, and marine sectors.
