Caterpillar original 245-3516 Common Rail Fuel Injector Nozzle for C9 Engine E330D E336D 320D Excavator Replacement for OEM new injector original new injector

The Caterpillar CAT C9 Fuel Injector 245-3516 is engineered as a genuine OEM replacement component for Caterpillar C9 engine platforms, including the C9 ACERT, industrial, generator, marine, and power unit variants. Designed to meet original equipment standards, this injector delivers consistent and repeatable fuel delivery across a wide range of heavy-duty operating conditions, from construction sites and mining operations to power generation and marine propulsion. Its precision-engineered nozzle geometry and electronic control response ensure accurate fuel atomization and stable spray pattern formation, supporting clean combustion and efficient engine performance.

Built with corrosion-resistant materials and high-pressure fuel handling capability, the 2453516 injector withstands the demanding environments typical of heavy equipment applications. Each unit is manufactured to OEM-equivalent tolerances, guaranteeing a direct-fit installation without the need for modification. Leak-free operation, consistent injector response, and long service life are achieved through strict quality control during production, making this component a reliable choice for fleet operators, service workshops, and equipment rebuilders.

To maintain optimal injector performance, operators should use high-quality diesel fuel, replace fuel filters according to scheduled service intervals, avoid water contamination in the fuel supply, monitor engine fault codes regularly, and conduct preventive diagnostics. Common symptoms indicating the need for injector replacement include engine hard starting, increased fuel consumption, black or white exhaust smoke, reduced horsepower, engine knocking, poor throttle response, and active fault codes related to fuel system performance.
