The CAT 0R-3422 fuel injector nozzle is a precision-engineered component designed for Caterpillar 3406B, 3406C, 3408, 3408B, 3408C, 3412, and 3412C diesel engines. Manufactured from hardened alloy steel to OEM quality standards, this nozzle delivers exceptional dimensional accuracy and consistent performance in heavy-duty industrial environments. It is fully compatible with CAT equipment models including the 988B, 988F, 990, 992C, 992D, D8L, 834B, 836, 631D, 631E, 633D, 637D, 637E, 639D, 771C, 775B, SR4 Generator, and WEG Generator, serving construction, mining, marine, power generation, and oil and gas industries.

Engineered for high-temperature resistance and superior wear resistance, the 0R-3422 nozzle maintains a stable spray pattern over an extended operational lifespan. Cross-referenced with 0R-3422, 4W-7018, 4W-7012, 4W-3619, 5Y-7018, and 0R-1745, it provides reliable interchangeability across multiple CAT platforms. Functional benefits include improved fuel economy, better combustion efficiency, reduced smoke emissions, faster cold starting, lower fuel consumption, and increased engine power, making it a dependable solution for demanding diesel applications.

Proper maintenance ensures long-term reliability. Operators should use premium diesel fuel, replace fuel filters regularly, maintain fuel cleanliness, monitor exhaust smoke, and conduct injector performance testing. During installation, always use clean fuel, replace damaged seals, avoid contamination, verify injector calibration, and follow Caterpillar service manual procedures. Routine diagnostic procedures include opening pressure testing, fuel leakage inspection, nozzle hole examination, spray pattern evaluation, injector balance testing, and engine combustion analysis.
