The Caterpillar 3126 Series HEUI diesel fuel injector OR-9350 is engineered as a direct replacement for CAT 3126, 3126B, 3126E, and selected 3116 engines using the 7.2L inline six-cylinder HEUI fuel system. It cross-references with EX639350, 141-7837, 173-1013, 173-9272, 196-4229, 222-5972, and 169-7410, making it a versatile solution for global part-number searches across truck, bus, RV, marine, and industrial equipment fleets.

This injector delivers precision fuel metering, high-pressure atomization, and consistent electronic response to support cylinder balance and stable combustion. The industrial-grade body construction withstands the thermal and pressure demands of medium-duty and vocational service, while the replacement-ready design simplifies installation during fleet maintenance, engine rebuilds, and reman/core exchange programs. It is suitable for medium-duty trucks, box trucks, dump trucks, school and shuttle buses, RVs, motorhomes, fire trucks, ambulances, construction support equipment, and marine diesel applications.

Proper maintenance preserves HEUI performance. Operators should use clean diesel fuel, replace fuel filters regularly, service the water separator, and use the correct diesel engine oil to maintain stable oil pressure. Inspect injector wiring, scan ECM fault codes, and perform cylinder balance tests during routine service to detect issues such as rough idle, misfire, hard start, smoke, power loss, or high fuel consumption before they escalate.
