Engineered for demanding diesel powertrains, the 387-9427 Fuel Injector delivers precision-metered fuel atomization for the C7 inline 6-cylinder 7.2L turbocharged engine platform. Manufactured to OEM specifications, this common rail injection nozzle assembly ensures accurate spray patterns, stable injection pressure, and consistent combustion performance across a wide range of industrial and heavy-duty operating conditions. Each unit undergoes factory testing to verify balance rates, flow characteristics, and sealing integrity before shipment.

Key engineering features include precision nozzle technology, high-pressure fuel delivery capability, enhanced durability, and corrosion-resistant construction for extended service life. The injector supports improved combustion efficiency, lower emissions, and reduced fuel consumption when installed on C7, C7 ACERT, Industrial C7, and Generator C7 configurations. Cross reference numbers 387-9427 and 3879427 provide compatibility with a broad inventory base, simplifying sourcing for fleet operators, service workshops, and OEM equipment distributors worldwide.

Typical applications cover excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, diesel generator sets, prime and emergency power systems, mining auxiliary units, heavy-duty trucks, and marine auxiliary engines. To ensure optimal performance, use high-quality diesel fuel, replace fuel filters regularly, renew sealing washers during installation, and verify injection pressure per service manual specifications. Symptoms such as hard starting, white or black smoke, rough idle, power loss, or elevated fuel consumption should be diagnosed using professional diesel testing equipment before injector replacement.
