Caterpillar original Caterpillar 212-3467 4N6020 130-8845 51.5L 1308845 fuel pump original new injector

The Caterpillar C10 Series Injector 212-3467 is an electronic unit injector engineered for CAT C10, C12, 3176, 3176C, and 3196 diesel engines. Manufactured to OE replacement standards, it features precision fuel metering, high-pressure atomization, a durable injector body, and wear-resistant internal components that withstand the demands of heavy-duty operation. Each unit is pre-delivery tested to confirm spray pattern, flow rate, and sealing performance before packaging.

This injector is widely applied across Caterpillar 725 and 730 articulated trucks, the 16H motor grader, the 972G II wheel loader, the 345B and 365B excavator series, the CPT372 truck mounted pumper, as well as C10 and C12 powered industrial engines, generator sets, and 3196 marine auxiliary engines. Its direct replacement design allows straightforward installation into the cylinder head fuel injector bore, supporting engine rebuild, scheduled service, and large-scale fleet maintenance programs. Cross reference numbers 170-5231 and 10R-1259 are recognized for global aftermarket distribution.

To extend service life, operators should supply clean diesel fuel, replace fuel filters on schedule, drain the water separator, and maintain engine oil quality. Common failure indicators include hard starting, rough idle, black or white smoke, misfire, reduced power, and elevated fuel consumption. When multiple injectors show age-related wear, full-set replacement is recommended to restore balanced combustion and consistent performance across the engine platform.
