Caterpillar original Caterpillar 249-0712 replacement diesel fuel injector common rail new injector original new injector

Engineered for heavy-duty diesel powertrain service, this 249-0712 fuel injector is a direct OE-style replacement designed for the C11 diesel engine platform. The injector supports stable fuel delivery and precision atomization, contributing to consistent combustion, reliable engine output, and reduced installation modification risk when correctly matched by engine serial number and existing injector number. Cross reference coverage includes 249-0712, 10R-3147, CA2490712, and CA10R3147, making the part inventory-friendly and searchable across global aftermarket procurement channels.

Typical equipment applications include the 725 and 730 articulated dump trucks, 966H wheel loader, R1600G and R1600H load haul dump loaders, R1700G and R1700K load haul dump loaders, 14M motor grader, RM-300 reclaimer mixer, along with CX31-C11I, CX31-P600, TH35-C11I, and TH35-E81 petroleum and powertrain configurations. The injector is repair-oriented for hard-start conditions, rough idle, engine power loss, black or white smoke, misfire, diesel knock, and fuel dilution in oil. Final compatibility should always be verified using the engine serial number, machine serial number, and original injector number.

For service reliability, use clean diesel fuel, replace filters at service interval, drain the water separator, and flush the fuel system before installing a replacement injector. Store units in clean, dry, dust-free packaging with protective caps, and avoid drops, strikes, or disassembly. Ideal for export markets, repair shops, fleets, mining, quarry, road building, and industrial machinery supply chains.
