Caterpillar original 10R-1258 Common Rail Fuel Injector 212-3468 10R-0967 for C12 Excavator Truck Engine Replacement for OEM original new injector

The CAT C12 Fuel Injector 10R-1258 (212-3468) is an OEM-specification diesel injection assembly engineered for Caterpillar C12 engines operating across industrial, marine, mining, and power generation sectors. Manufactured using high-strength alloy steel and precision-machined nozzle technology, this injector delivers a uniform spray pattern and precise fuel atomization for consistent combustion performance under demanding load conditions. The electronic unit injector supports the C12 platform's high pressure fuel system, capable of operating at pressures exceeding 2,000 bar (29,000 PSI) during full-load operation.

Internal components include hardened valve assemblies, wear-resistant needle valves, precision control springs, and a high-strength alloy body, all designed to withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stress. The injector is optimized for fuel economy, reducing fuel consumption through improved combustion efficiency while supporting continuous duty cycles in heavy haul trucks, generator sets, and earthmoving equipment. Its high temperature resistance ensures reliable service in desert operations, underground mining environments, and prolonged generator applications.

Recommended maintenance follows a tiered schedule: every 250 hours inspect fuel leakage, injector wiring, and fuel line condition; every 500 hours check spray pattern, fuel balance, and engine performance; every 1000 hours perform injector performance testing, flow rate verification, and electronic diagnostics. Suitable for OEM replacement, aftermarket replacement, fleet maintenance programs, engine rebuild projects, and Caterpillar engine remanufacturing applications worldwide.
