The Caterpillar 10R-1264 Fuel Injector is a precision-engineered electronic unit injector designed specifically for the CAT C12 and C12 ACERT diesel engine platforms. Manufactured to OEM-level standards, this injector assembly delivers calibrated fuel delivery and high-pressure atomization, ensuring stable combustion across demanding operating conditions. The internal components are built with corrosion-resistant materials to withstand prolonged exposure to diesel fuel and varying thermal loads, contributing directly to extended service life and consistent engine performance.

This injector is engineered to support improved fuel economy and reduced exhaust emissions, aligning with the operational expectations of modern heavy-duty diesel applications. It serves as a direct replacement for authorized OE numbers 10R-1264, 249-0712, and 222-5966, making it suitable for distributors, fleet operators, and service centers maintaining Caterpillar equipment. Its compatibility spans construction machinery, mining equipment, on-highway and off-highway trucks, generator sets, marine equipment, and industrial machinery used in power generation systems.

To maintain optimal injector performance, it is recommended to use ultra-clean diesel fuel, replace fuel filters at scheduled intervals, and avoid contaminated fuel sources. Routine monitoring of fuel pressure and scheduled diagnostic inspections further support reliable operation. When paired with OEM quality replacement parts and proper maintenance practices, the 10R-1264 injector helps preserve engine efficiency, minimize downtime, and uphold the long-term reliability expected from CAT C12 engine platforms across global industrial markets.
