Caterpillar original 253-0615 Diesel Fuel Injector 2530615 for C15 C18 C27 C32 Excavator E365C E374DL Replacement original new injector

The Caterpillar CAT C15 Fuel Injector 253-0615 is engineered as a direct OEM equivalent replacement for Caterpillar C15, C15 ACERT, and 3406E diesel engines. Built to original equipment calibration specifications, this injector assembly delivers OEM-grade fuel delivery precision, ensuring proper injection timing, flow rate, and spray pattern across demanding operating conditions. The unit corresponds with authorized cross reference numbers including 10R-7224, 20R-8058, 235-2888, 328-2582, and 387-9433, providing reliable interchangeability for fleet operators and service facilities maintaining mixed Caterpillar engine inventories.

Featuring a high-precision nozzle design and superior fuel atomization capability, the 253-0615 injector operates within high-pressure common rail system parameters to optimize combustion efficiency. OEM calibrated flow rates contribute to improved fuel economy, enhanced engine power output, and reduced exhaust emissions. The assembly incorporates corrosion-resistant materials and heavy-duty construction to withstand prolonged exposure to contaminated fuels, vibration, and elevated operating temperatures typical in construction, mining, marine, and power generation applications.

The 253-0615 injector is compatible with Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, and Western Star heavy-duty trucks, as well as Caterpillar construction equipment, generator sets, marine propulsion systems, and oil and gas power units. Installation requires a clean fuel system, replacement of injector seals, verification of injector seating surface, and adherence to Caterpillar specified torque values with post-installation leak testing. Periodic diagnostic inspections, fuel filter replacement, and monitoring of injector balance rates are recommended to sustain long-term performance.
